‘Several people’ injured after 2-car collision near Ladysmith

RCMP were called to a dramatic two-car collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near Ladysmith on Saturday morning, which led to several injuries.

An RCMP spokesperson told CHEK News the crash occurred at 11:48 a.m. on the Trans-Canada Highway near Edgelow Road South.

Photos of the crash show a vehicle on its roof in a ditch beside the southbound lanes of the highway.

Details were few on Saturday afternoon, with police only saying that “several people” were injured in the crash. Police do not believe there were any fatalities.
