When COVID-19 first hit it was clear the world needed more face masks.
One of the places that took the lead in creating new tools to protect ourselves was Camosun College’s Innovation Centre, which ended up creating hundreds of face masks for healthcare workers as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
The centre is a hub for creation, and as CHEK’s Joe Perkins finds out in this episode of Road to Recovery, the work being done here on the Island is critical in how we handle this virus in the future.
