Police are on the lookout for a missing Courtenay man who hasn’t been seen in over a week.
On Friday, the Comox Valley RCMP asked for help locating 53-year-old David Phillips, who was last seen at his home in Courtenay on May 8.
Police say Phillips may be riding his red “chopper style e-bike” and that he’s known to frequent parks in Courtenay.
“It is unusual for David to go this long without returning home, contacting family or friends,” said Const. Monika Terragni with the Comox Valley RCMP. “We want to ensure he is safe.”
Phillips stands roughly six feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown and grey hair, and hazel eyes.
Anyone who sees Phillips or who knows where he is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
