Police divers search Gorge Waterway search for missing person

Saanich divers and Victoria police were searching the Gorge Waterway Thursday for a missing man.

Victoria police spokesman Const. Matt Rutherford confirmed that the search, which was in and around the waterway close to Arm Street, was in relation to Duncan Pucker.

He was last seen in 900-block of Arm Street at 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 4. Police put out a missing person release on Wednesday.

Rutherford said they are utilizing various resources in finding Pucker.

Pucker is described by police as Caucasian, slim and 6’2.” He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a floral blue dress shirt and dark jeans, with possibly a black pea coat.

Anyone with information on Pucker’s whereabouts is asked to call Victoria police at 250-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Anyone who sees him can call 911.
