With spring break fast approaching for students and families, BC Ferries is adding extra sailings between Swartz Bay (Victoria) and Tsawwassen (Vancouver) to help keep up with demand.

The company says it’s deploying one of its Salish Class vessels to the busy route to help transport the influx in travellers.

The extra sailings are scheduled for March 14 to 24, though specific days will see varying amounts of extra sailings.

The spring break schedule can be found below:

Since the schedule has been altered for spring break, BC Ferries says it will contact travellers who already have reservations booked for regular scheduled sailings. Passengers will be offered a spot on new sailings, and if those new times don’t work they will be offered a refund, according to BC Ferries.
