A tow truck began the work of turning a car back onto its wheels after an earlier crash caused it to flip onto its roof on June 3, 2024.

The driver of a vehicle was brought to hospital after a crash caused their vehicle to flip onto its roof, according to Saanich Police.

Saanich Police officers are investigating the two-vehicle crash that caused a car to flip in the 2800 block of Richmond Road.

Firefighters who responded extracted the driver from the vehicle, and police say the driver appeared to have suffered minor injuries. They were brought to hospital for assessment.

Traffic in the area is affected and a tow truck is on scene and police aim to have the area cleared shortly.

ICBC crash stats show there has only been one reported crash at this intersection between 2018 and 2022.
